Accessible Restroom Upgrade ♿
This project transformed a downtown-condo bathroom for a couple—specifically to help the client, whose goal was accessibility, move around safely and independently. We fully contained dust with plastic sheeting and floor guards, then reinforced walls for stainless steel grab bars by the toilet, shower, and hallway. A low-threshold wet-room base replaced the old shower pan, and large-format porcelain tile went up around a custom niche. We recessed bright LED cans overhead, painted trim crisp white, added floating shelves at reachable heights, and finished with waterproof vinyl plank flooring. The result is a modern, open, and fully accessible restroom tailored to the client’s needs.
